Labour Party presidential aspirant, Peter Obi has triggered mixed reactions among netizens as he speaks on his prudent way of spending.
In the video making the rounds online, Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State said that he can’t pay N250K per night to sleep at a hotel.
Speaking about spending his money, Peter Obi noted that if he goes to a hotel and pays N250K per night, he won’t be able to sleep.
According to Peter Obi, he is not against anyone spending their money but he is against wasting public funds.
He added that while he was the governor of Anambra State for eight (8) years, all his flight was economy and not business class or first class.
Peter Obi said;
“If I go to a hotel and pay N250k/per night, I won’t sleep, I’ll feel like they stole my money.”
